Patriotes receive gold medal and qualify for the OFSAA provincial badminton championship
April 27th, 2015 - L’École secondaire catholique La Citadelle was very pleased to win the SD&G baminton championship on April 15th 2015. Among the 16 student-athletes participating in the championship, 12 qualified for the EOSSAA championship that was held in Casselman on April 21st. The Patriots team ranked fourth overall in the tournament. Within the 12 remaining qualifiers, the Ménard sisters, Cloée and Emilie, have finished in first and in second place in Casselman and will now represent our school and region at the OFSAA badminton championship in Markham.
Congratulations to all the athletes who participated and best of luck to Cloée and Emilie Ménard in Markham next week at the OFSAA championship. Below is a list that highlights the various winners from the SD&G championship in Cornwall.
